Six audience groupings have been identified. They appear below in an
order that reflects the priorities the project consortium has set for
its dissemination program. The content is to be primarily aimed at the
business community.
1: Corporate executives
PRISM is seeking to create dialogue with the following corporate
executives on the strategic importance and the economic benefits of
better management, measurement and disclosure of intangible assets
within their businesses:
- CEOs
- CFOs (and those who prepare company information)
- Head of Investor Relations
- Marketing Officers
- HR officers
2: The Financial community
PRISM is particularly interested in stimulating greater interest
and action among the following financial players. They might play an
important role in "demanding" better information and more transparency
from enterprises.
- Institutional, commercial and private investors
- Banks & credit institutions
- Financial analysts – equity and debt
- Rating agents
3: Auditors and professional accountants, and their self-regulatory bodies
PRISM�s collective thoughts will be injected into the current,
hot debate about the future look of the auditing and accountancy
professions. The major targets will be dissemination within:
- The major accountancy firms
- The major regulatory bodies, including FASB and the IASB.
4: Consultants, information providers and other relevant intermediaries
This grouping plays an influential role amongst some of the above
communities. Major targets in this area will include:
- Strategy consultancy firms
- Info-mediary firms
5: The public sector community
The objective is to ensure a wider circle of the policy community
is aware of the importance of a policy response to the
Intangibles-related issues. We will target the following sub-groups:
- Politicians
- Policy analysts
- Think-Tanks
- Macroeconomists
- Statisticians
- Market regulators
6: The business academic and education communities
The objective with the academic community is to stimulate not
only further work, but also more teaching of the issues surrounding
intangibles within their curricula. |
